HEY KIDS!

We're in Maine -- got here late lastnight. We are in a pretty nice area, where there is some civilization! We are going out to a nice LOBSTER dinner tonight. YESS, I dunno about anyone else but I love lobster .. and I am missing myf family clam bake again this summer. So this should make up for it :)

Last week we got a new band, the sonic bids winners (that I was a part of)n-- they are called Green River Ordinance and they are from Texas. They are such nice, cool guys .. and they have some great music (and cool merchandise!).

http://www.myspace.com/gro
check them out

Yesterday was the last day for VIOLET NINE -- we are all going to miss them. They are such great guys and everyone loves them. We got some great group photos yesterday so those will be online at some point somwhere ..

Tomorrow Faces Without Names comes back .. pretty excited for that. Natascha Sohl is also going to be playing this one show .. so it will be cool to see someone completely different.

We also went to see Lady In The Water on a day off last week ... ran into to some campers. That was cool. The movie was not so great though -- I dont think it was supposed to be funny!

Anways -- I will try to update after maine!

hey all!
we just got into our hotel in wilkes-barre, pa that has INTERNET CONNECTION!?!?!?!
we went two days without any sort of internet, phone or sidekick-age.
i honestly didn't know what to do with myself...
earlier this week, we had a four day break. not going to lie, i MISSED working and all the awesome people! it was nice to be home for a few days though- i missed my dogs. and of course my family.
Monday we headed out to Deer Mountain in Pomona. May have been the hottest day EVER! Jesse LaBelle joined us and really blew me away. His voice is amazing and you all should check him out( myspace.com/jesselabelle )since i'm from nj, when he sang Bon Jovi's 'livin on a prayer,' he automatically won my heart<3 haha
Heather has been talking about this mystical creature that goes by the name 'alpaca' or something and i FINALLY saw one at Camp Hilltop! has to be the strangest animal, like a sheep mixed with a llama mixed with a camel and put a bouffant on top.
Kristy's debut cd, Freedom, came out on Tuesday so make sure to go out and buy it or order it on Amazon.com. For the release, Lori(Kristy's mom) took us out to dinner and celebrated[thanks again lori!]; the restaurant even played her cd! it was a lot of fun and Wil's desert was AMAZING!
Danny(our tour manager) had his surgery yesterday and was at our hotel when we came back from the show. Now THAT'S dedication!
yesterday, today and tomorrow Kristy is shooting the video for her single 'girls like me' so watch out for that sometime in the near future.
the guys of violet nine are still amazing- check out their myspace as well ( myspace.com/violetnine ) and watch their webisode or whatever it's called...

things are going really well and im having a lot of fun!
i've gone 3 weeks without getting sunburn- this definately has to be some sort of a record!
its late and im sleepy so that's it for now but i'll update next time i get a chance!

Hey Everyone --

Writing to you from the LL (aka Liberty Lake Camp) .. its really early and the show starts at 1pm today.

So far everything has gone pretty well, and all of the camps are great. We were at Canadensis yesterday which was just beautiful.

Today Faces Without Names is heading back to LA for a couple of weeks, Jon (the drummer) will be going to Europe so that is the reason for the break .. but no fear they will be back and we cant wait (and they havent even left yet! haha). Oh yeah, check out www.tommy2.net for some coverage on them in yesterdays update!

Since Meg first wrote Kristy Frank has joined the tour, shes awesome .. very happy & bubbly all the time!

We've got some great pics which I will try to get online soon.

Oh yeah, our TM (tour manager) Danny is out for the week ..he had an accident at one of the camps and will need surgery when the tour is over. He joins us again at the end of the week .. crutches and all! What a trooper.

Well cant forget to mention the other bands .. Violet Nine, awesome guys .. very funny. And Scarletts Web .. rockin band!! We love them.

See ya'elle (you all .. haha) soon :)

And so it begins! [03 Jul 2006|08:11pm]
Hey everyone-
today was my first day on tour. EVER!
it was a lot of fun & exciting. we woke up early and got to Camp Riverbend veryyyy early. Because it was a day camp, there were two shows- 3D performed for the younger kids and Scarletts Web & Faces without names for the older kids. Both shows went well and the kids were really into it. We got some great pictures and got to see all the kids play with the gigantic chess set, which i may look into buying for my backyard[just to say that i have a gigantic chess set in my backyard] Well, we're in our nice COLD hotel room in Easton, Pa ordering dinner & discussing the pictures we took. I'll update in a few days!

It's a sad night .. [17 Aug 2005|02:55am]
[ mood | sad ]

36 shows down, 1 to go -- it's going to be a sad night.

It's official .. there is ONE show left on the 2005 Camplified Tour and I'm starting to get teary eyed already. Being on this tour for 6 1/2 weeks spending 24/7 - eating, working, sleeping, with the same people will force you to get close really fast. Even though none of us really knew eachother before the tour we've been a family since day 1 and I'm sad to see that end. As you already know the tour ends Thursday so I'd like to thank a bunch of people in this entry who definitely deserve it.

- First off I'd like to thank Aimee Berger for putting together such an amazing tour.

- The TALENT deserves the next thank-you. To Nikki, Jillian, Katelyn, Katie, Zach, New Anthem, Arkitekt, Bensin, Hidden Echo, and I-94 .. THANK YOU for all the memories, great performances, jokes, and determination. Even through the rough times you pulled through - bigger things await, and we will always support you.

- To my roadie boys - Gary, Clint, Chris, & Greg: You're always the first to arrive and the last ones to leave the camps. Without you there would be no concert .. and nobody to help haul the scholastic tent. WE LOVE YOU for everything you've had to put up with, thanks for hanging in.

- All of the parents, managers, relatives, and entorage to the artists (who were always there): More importantly .. Sheri, GAHREY & MAHREY, Kenny & Kim, Tom, Mike & the Hidden Echo Crew, The Allen Family, & Shaun and Wade, ROCK ON - you will be missed.

- Derek, Danny (D1) and Danny (D2): My boys .. thanks for letting me join your crew for the end of the tour. You were the peace of mind that I needed esp. while I was stressing out. I can always count on you to entertain me at hotels, shows, and even on off days with your humor. I'm always here to help.

- Tess & Heather: My sisters .. the ones who have to listen to me complain day in and day out. Thanks for helping me survive the hottest summer I can remember. You lived with me literally 24/7 for the whole summer and helped deal with all of the chaos that happened while nobody was looking, I love you for that. The three of us are like and old married couple (+1), or so it seems. I really enjoyed spending my first tour with you and I hope we can all work together in the future. See you on the road!

After talking about the things I'll miss on the tour I felt like making a list of the things I WON'T miss: Green Acres Motel, getting lost, sketchy hotel rooms, GREAT BARRINGTON, 5 hour car rides, 8am call times, dirty clothes, dirty feet, dirt in general, CAMP FOOD, memorizing 50 names, 90+ degree heat, no cell/internet service, cows/deer/rolling hays, no washing machines, multiple 35 cent tolls, rest stops, NYC traffic, THE SCHOLASTIC TENT, wake up calls, video cameras, Pottstown/New Brunswick/THE POCONOS, glitter, intro sheets, being sick for two weeks, leaving items behind, the group sales departments, and mosquitos!

One last show (it's also Zach's BIRTHDAY) I will update with post tour news, but now it's time for me to fall asleep while listening to my BSB's.

<3 always
Andria

It's been awhile since an update, but we have definitley been busy & internet connection is still a hard thing to find. Right now we are in Newburgh, NY and our show is actually in NJ today. It's a bit of a sad day as well for Andria, Tess and I .. Arkitekt, Jillian, & New Anthem are leaving the tour! Although we will miss them I definitley wish them luck with EVERYTHING (Jillian - we'll see you soon!) and it's been a blast getting to know everyone. You all rock hard :)

Well moving onto other things, on Monday we were at Park Shore day camp .. pretty cool camp that had some sweet kids. Plus we got hooked up with NICE sweatshirts instead of tshirts! WOO thanks :) It was also Hidden Echo's FIRST DAY and their US Debut performance .. those kids can rock! They are 8-13 .. they have great families behind them and I definitley hope they make a lot of fans being on this tour. Check them out - www.hiddenecho.com

We have a ton of pictures to get online so keep looking out for those, it's a long process getting them up but soon there will be LOTS and definitley some fun ones to check out :) Until then - later!

[31 Jul 2005|01:45am]
CHAPTER 1 IN THE ONGOING SAGA THAT IS CAMPLIFIED
as all short stories have a begining and an end, so this update has absolutley nothing to do with hobbits, wizards, witches, or supernatural things of any kind, whatsoever. although when it comes to adventures of ben lighting his chest hair on fire, bad directions, hairpin turns at ninety miles an hour, or time travel through complex worm holes in the space-time continuum there are tales aplenty. so picking faithfully up at the last update we continue to follow our heroes on a desperate fight against rowdy crowds of amazingly awesome fans to three-headed camp counselors for the common good of all mankind. at last the fearless band arkitekt teamed with jillian wheeler and the amazing crime fighting force known as new anthem came to a stop at the post atomic camp of hilltop!!! with no more than a mere dream and mission statement of stopping the arch-nemesis camp counselors and their anti-rock ways once and for all. So to turn a long story into something much more complicated, the much-feared and loved hope for the entire camp of young hope-fuls the bands arkitekt, jillian wheeler, and new anthem took the stage with much anguish to the darth villians and rocked harder than anything in recent memory.. with the recent defeat of the evil that had been lurking throughout the camp, the counselors, with a new perspective as to the future of the village of hilltop, have a renewed vision and appreciation for all that is rock.
now back to the hobbits, witches and wizards which initially had nothing to do with this tale who have wandered in from the pages of their great lands onto the pages of our feeble tale; begin the archetypal battle of good vs evil with a new fellowship between themselves and the rag-tag team of rebels known as new anthem...
to be continued at the next update

oh camplified [21 Jul 2005|04:13pm]
what's good? this is tess goddamn cooper...
we're at Camp Kweebec right now and New Anthem just finished soundchecking. They started the tour last sun, and so did Katelyn Tarver. Bensin started on tues, and Katie Neil started mon. all the bands are pretty sweet, and we ate in the Pottstown 24-hr Diner about 50 million times. Last night the Julian Krinsky camp show went well, but with lots of squeaky teenage girls.
NOTE: THERE IS A NO-TOUCHING POLICY ON THIS TOUR! most of the artists are sweaty anyway.
just kidding, but please keep the touchy-feely to a minimum and mental undressing. These are my boys and Jillian we're talking about here =)Not to mention Katelyn and Katie
uh-oh! camp Kweebec staff! she wants the compuuuuterrrr...
too bad, cos this tour is more important. All the bands and artists are having a great time playing and they love meeting all the kids.
make sure you rock myspace.com/camplified for some new songs and www.camplified.com for some sweet photos taken by Heather

stay cool, bc it's about 100 degrees here in SEPA.

Camp Kweebec [21 Jul 2005|03:13pm]
[ mood | hot ]
[ music | bensin soundchecking ]

Hey everyone,

right now we are at camp kweebec in PA, i94 has just soundchecked and all the bands are just about getting here. this week has been a long one - just a few more days until we get a day off (it's about to be 11 straight shows in a row). this week has gone really well though, we've played at some awesome camps and have gotten some great new talent on the tour.

katelyn tarver, katie neil, new anthem and bensin have all started just this week .. all acts are awesome in their own ways. New Anthem puts on an amazing stage show & they really interact with the crowd very well .. Bensin is the same way, really cool show to watch. And of course they are all really cool guys and everyone has been getting along great. Katelyn Tarver is a sweethart! Her first show was at Hole in the wall gang and everyone loved her and even a few of the campers knew her from American Juniors which is just awesome.

It's still been pretty rough accessing the internet in these areas so as soon as we can get on for more than a few minutes we'll be sure to get some pics up because now we just have a ridiculous amount! So be looking out for those and maybe some more entries from some of the artists on the tour .. :)
